Friday April 21st the KASPIR team did their first investigation of a private business in Wichita, KS.
The investigation started around 10 PM. Sam, Richard, and Shannon (KASPIR team members) got a tour of the building but was not told and history or experiences that have happened on the property. They did this to not be influenced.
Richard decided to set up his equipment in an area by himself. Shannon and another ELP team member set up where a lot of activity was reported a little further from Richard. Sam accompanied Leo, Jeremiah and myself to the back of the building to observe and take notes.
As my group started an EVP (electronic voice phenomenon) session, Jeremiah picked up an oblong shadow on the wall behind Leo and myself. 18 seconds into recording on the digital voice recorder there was a 'clank' sound heard. At 45 (11:22PM) seconds into recording a whisper was heard by Leo and a member of another group yards away from where we stood. "By now you have probably seen most of us here. We do have a new few guests roaming the building so.... be courteous, come out and say hi. Come out and talk to us. Show yourself at any time." It was faint but Leo says it sounded like a confirmation. We continued with asking for who ever made this whisper to speak louder or make another noise. At this moment we heard a tap beside us. Leo reports hearing another whisper. Followed by breathy sounds.
"If you're truly here with us tonight can you make a knocking sound to let us know how many people are here with us." Leo continued with the session (3:30 on recorder 11:26 PM) "mhm" was heard by Sam and Leo. Leo instructed whatever was with us to use energy from the storms, his energy or batteries we had with us.
"Got something weird with the camera that's never happened before.." (6:33 on recorder 11:29 PM) "Had 8 or 9 minutes left on the reel and it flashed up with a message saying recording interrupted please wait. I've never seen that before" Jeremiah was explaining as he sees something pass behind Leo and I . He describes it as a big shadow what a human head would cast behind us on the wall. (8:12 on recorder 11:31 PM) a squeak was captured. We searched for what could have made the noise and couldn't find it. There were some possibilities of what it could have been.
Later in the night in the same area, Sam saw another shadow against a door. He reported it to look like the same one Jeremiah saw. Around this same time, I headed off to another area of the building where there were some strange activities involving tarps moving 6 feet towards someone, tapping, and a noticeable gust of wind to someone's face. There is no air flow in this area. When I set up my equipment ( EVP, EMF detector, and camcorder) nothing seemed out of the ordinary. The tarps were hung to block off certain parts of the large storage room I was in. Nothing was moving. I asked if something was with me to make the lights on the EMF go up. Nothing happened. I made sure to stand very still as to not touch the tarps or make any other sound the equipment might pick up. at 15 seconds on the recorder I start to hear some of the tarps scraping against the cement floor. (1:45 on recorder) A tap was heard. The scraping sounds started to get more frequent and louder. (3:41 on recorder) I felt a cold chill and heard a whisper. After that I saw something move from the left side of the tarp in the middle to the right side as if something was run along the back of it. At this time the tarp to my right moved a good 3 feet towards me and stayed there, not moving. I heard foot steps coming from the left of me and getting closer. I just had a weird feeling that I wasn't welcomed in that area any more. I picked up my equipment and headed out to the main lobby. I brought Richard, Sam and Shannon back to that area to investigate. Nothing strange appeared to happen with them. The tarps did move slightly around us. Sam's theory was our body heat effecting them. This is possible. It did not, however move as much it did when I was alone.
Shannon and Erin were set up in another part of the building. They have some reports of personal experiences. This will be updated more on later. Erin reported hearing something continuously moving around in a certain area. Every time she went to investigate where this sound was coming from, it would stop. She searched under tarps and pallets and couldn't find the origin of this sound.
The KASPIR team members and I did report a lot of dust and car noises around the building during the time of our investigation. Some footage and recordings are still being reviewed at this time. There doesn't seem to be too much actually caught on recordings. Anything that is found will be uploaded and updated. Another experience caught by them was a whistle that was heard.
After the KASPIR team had concluded their end of the investigation, I stuck around with ELP to poke around some more. At this time Leo, Jeremiah, Erin and another member of their team, and myself all gathered in the large area of the building and set up a laser grid. The level of activity we experienced from that point was astonishing. We started rolling right around 2 AM. With in the first minute on my camera Erin mentions she hears a low voice multiple times. Shadows are reported moving about 30 feet in front of us by both Jeremiah and my self. 2:30 on camera " I just heard a really long sigh..." I said " Did you guys hear that?" Came from Leo. What he explained hearing was a big bang near him and got heat from it. After feeling this he reports seeing a big black shadow coming from the area as well. This relates back to an experience that has happened to Jeremiah in the past at this location. A second sigh happens near Leo once again. Jeremiah starts hearing dragging footsteps in the area as well. This all seemed to happen with in the same couple of minutes back to back. 4:16 into the camera footage a loud growl is heard. No one remembers clearing their throat and we can hear myself and another member discussing a flashlight. It sounded to me like it was disagreeing. The more laser lights we put up the more things started to feel heavy. at 5:11 on the camera you hear something seemed to be thrown and bounced in our area. On another camera at 26 seconds in you hear a loud female voice. Leo tries to provoke it but saying "What did you say again? We misunderstood you." Another voice is heard by all of us after this. Then another female voice is heard seeming to be having a conversation with someone. 2:38 on camera Jeremiah is discussing with another team member about hearing a voice and Leo thought he heard my voice.
